Supervision of the Agency’s daily operations is conducted by a team of experienced security professionals headed by the Director of Security. Working daily in the field under the direction of the Director of Security is a management team composed of a Senior Operations Officer and Corporate Field Officers who oversee a network of on-site supervisors.

The Agency stresses the quality, training, and professionalism of its supervisory team, and applies progressive security management techniques in supervision and training of its security personnel.

Biography

Christy Brake has been with Clark Security since 2003 and is the Agency’s first female president. She has worked in every position within the Agency, from maintaining a security post to being the vice president overseeing the Agency’s day-to-day activities, and was directly mentored by Richard P. Curby and Bob Lovelace for 18 years. As President and Director of Security, Christy oversees the entirety of the Agency and its operations; is one of two qualified agents and licenses holders for the Agency; is responsible for all of the security services and operations provided to the Agency’s clients.

Biography

Brandon M. Cooper has been with Clark Security since 2013 and is the Agency’s youngest vice president. Since starting, Brandon was mentored by and worked directly with Richard P. Curby, Bob Lovelace, and Christy Brake. He has held multiple positions within the Agency, and as Vice President and Controller, Brandon is responsible for all accounting and finance-related activities; federal and state compliance; security service agreements and proposals; the corporate office and its functions; is the director of the labor-related services department and one of two qualified agents and licenses holders for the Agency; and meets with the Board of Directors.

Biography

Connie Stewart has been a human resource professional for over 25 years in multiple industries and has been with Clark Security since 2014. As Director of Human Resources, Connie oversees all employment processing and relations, recruiting and talent acquisition efforts, and any disciplinary concerns. She is responsible for employee benefits, personnel records management, and ensures the Agency complies with all federal, state, and local employment and labor laws and reporting, including ADA, COBRA, FMLA, HIPAA, OSHA, Title VII, and workers’ compensation.

Biography

David Cohron has worked in the uniformed contract security business for over 40 years prior to joining Clark Security in 2019. David assists the Department of Human Resources with all its needs and fills in for the director when needed. He helps in the Agency’s recruiting and talent acquisition efforts and the new hire processing of new employees.

Biography

Maylyn is responsible for maintaining account and personnel files, tracking training certifications and licenses, assisting in the Agency’s billing and payroll procedures, and is a point of contact for both Christy and Brandon.

David E. Gunn

Chair of the Board

Biography

David has been a major part of the Company for over 30 years as an advisor, consultant, and employee. David spent four years in operational and administrative security with the United States Air Force. David is a CPA and an honor graduate of Indiana State University. David has been an integral part of designing operating and administrative programs for the Company.
David has over 40 years of solving business issues and has served on numerous Boards in the regional community including the First Bancorp Inc. Board for 17 years.

Collynn K. Pearl

Biography

Collynn has been a part of the Company for over 15 years. She comes to us from Michigan State University. After college, she worked as a Freelance Automotive Writer. Collynn then joined Pontiac Motor Division as District Service Manager in the Chicagoland area and was the District Sales Manager in St Louis. She returned to Pontiac Headquarters as head of Service Publications. Collynn then spent the next 20 years managing the Oldsmobile, Pontiac, GMC, Cadillac dealership in Carbondale, Illinois along with her husband.
